Inside The Hull

It often gets forgotten in the pre-season rush to get afloat, but the internal structure of your Shrimper is just as critical as the outside.  Some Mk 1 boats have suffered problems with the internal mast support strut that transmits load between the coachroof and the keel.  Below will be found some guidance on how to repair this important part of your boat.

Water leaks into the cabin can be a problem.  Most result from faulty drain tubes, but however it gets in it, any water inside the boat must be removed.  Follow the links for information on checking the hoses and to see one owner's solution for pumping out the sump below the cockpit.
