Shrimper MkII Jennifer Rose

We are sadly thinking that the time has probably come, with our advancing years, to part with our much-beloved Shrimper.  Full racing spec, but we have also upgraded her with features that assist in making coastal passages.

In the LED-lit cosy cabin are 2 full length cushioned berths, a chemical loo, and big forward locker.  Timber-lined cabin with cushions on full-length berths.         Major re-furbishment of hull, mast, and electrical up-grade by shipyard in 2023.

Jennifer Rose has pretty much all of the 'extras' that you might want for cruising, including:

-        Stainless steel reinforced centre keel (2015) to protect against stony ground when beaching her during cruising.

-        Full-length winter cover (2016).

-        Extra furling Genoa, (2017), specially designed, oversized for more speed when cruising (but still a well-balanced helm), in addition to the standard furling Genoa.

-        6HP Mariner Outboard (2017) with generator coil to top up battery.

-        Copper anti-fouling below waterline (2023).

-        Mast-top LED navigation and mooring lights (2023).

-        LED light in cabin (2023).

-        Solar panel on cabin roof (2023) to keep battery full.

-        12 volt outlet for phones and accessories in cabin (2023).

-        New sail cover (2023).

-        Mast-top radio aerial cabled down to cabin.

-        10 litre fuel tank in rear locker connected to engine.

-        Echosounder (Raymarine ST40) with depth displayed in cockpit.

-        Stainless steel hinged stern access ladder for swimmers.

-        Heavy duty 12 volt battery in cockpit locker; isolation switch and multi-fuse switch-panel in cabin.

-        Anchor, with 12 metre warp and chain.

-        2 Mooring warps, fenders, telescopic boathook.

-        Compass with alternative brackets in cabin & on roof.

-        Piggy-back launching trolley and road trailer, with spare road wheel.

Not sailed this summer owing to owner's recent medical issue, but she is fully ready to launch and sail immediately.
