Shrimper 21 Dilly

Dilly was delivered to us in January 2022.  We have had three glorious seasons of sailing with her in the UK, France and the Netherlands but have now “gone large” to a Crabber 26 so she is offered for sale.  Having had a Shrimper 19 in dark blue we chose Cornish Blue to lessen the effect of blooming that the darker colours are prone to and she remains as good, if not better, than new.

In addition to the usual items you find on a Shrimper 21, such as the great two ring cooker, sink, water on tap and Portapotty she has what I consider to be the necessary extras:

• Coppercoat
• Sprayhood for when it rains and you are sailing – now £2,400
• Cockpit tent for when it rains and you are moored or anchored – now £3,500
• 5 kg Knox anchor with 6m of 7mm chain and 24m of Anchorplait to allow you to anchor with confidence – now £215
• Adaption to launch the anchor without damaging the gelcoat
• Two to one adaption of the jib sheets to allow easier tacking
• AIS receiver

• Lagun table with fittings for the cabin and the cockpit
• Raymarine ST1000+ Autopilot

• Blue Sea Add-a-Battery system to charge the batteries efficiently

Dilly is on her double axle trailer that has proved to be safe on our trips within the UK and Europe.  When not on the water she is stored in one of our barns under tarpaulins.  She has not been in the water this year (2025) but I have run up her engine to ensure that all is fine (it is).
