Shrimper Mk II Sir Reepicheep
My husband and I owned and enjoyed sailing Sir Reepicheep since new, first on the East Coast Rivers, and the Broads, then for the last fifteen years or so, on the Scottish West Coast. Unexpected bereavement has obliged me to sell.
The boat is in sound order and has been maintained by the boatyard for at least the last decade. The engine (the original IGM10) has been regularly serviced and any problems have been professionally dealt with (several years of records will be available on request).
The boat is complete with sails, rigging and all ropes, the original anchor gear, fenders etc. There is an echo sounder and compass, navigation lights (new last year), internal light and a 12v charging socket. There is a new sail cover and a cockpit tent in good order. There is an extensive collection of extras available if required, both for navigation: hand held vhs radio, gps etc ; also living equipment such as stove, chemical toilet and galley equipment.
We were intending to sail again this year with no need for work on the boat, but there is no doubt Sir Reepicheep would benefit from some cosmetic attention.
The boat is currently stored on its original combination trailer. This has not been used for some years and needs work before it can be considered roadworthy. I am expecting the necessary repairs to be done in the near future so the boat will ultimately be available with a fully roadworthy trailer and launch. I am open to offers on the price.
