‘Alethea’ Sail No 381 is a Cornish Shrimper 19 Mk 1 version, having a Yanmar 1GM10 - 9 HP inboard diesel engine, serial Nbr 08012 on a Tyrone & Snell single axle non braked galvanised trailer with winch.

 

Dark blue hull, white water line, mid-grey decking, having copper bottomed antifouling applied in 2019 as part of a comprehensive refit and substantial refurbishment programme by Cornish Crabbers. See below.

 

2019 Key Refurbishment Items

 

 

  • Old antifouling removed and replaced with a Copper bottom antifouling system. Life expectancy circa 10 years
  • Mast and spars stripped and Sikkens varnished
  • New mast head tri-colour navigation light
  • New gunwales

  • Hull and deck gel coat overhauled and polished
