All tides HW Portsmouth BST.
Friday 7th June – HW. 11.37
Arrivals at Chichester Marina – local – slipway & crane launches. Briefing supper at Chichester Yacht Club. 19.30hrs.
Sat 8th June - HW 12.14 Cowes, Shepherds Wharf Eat on board or in town.
Sunday 9th June - HW 12.50
Shop for supplies - lunch & for cooking competition later.
Head for Newtown Creek anchored for lunch - then Lymington Yacht Haven.
Alternative try Town Quay for short stay if space for lunch in town.
Cooking competition in evening. Strictly no bbq's in marina.
Monday 10th June HW 13.26
Race Day – 2 races then onto Yarmouth.
Those not racing to Keyhaven S.C. – picnic lunch onboard – rafted.
Visit to Hurst Castle via ferry. Alternative explore Lymington town.
Tues 11th June HW 14.02
To Beaulieu – initially up to Beaulieu pool for anchored lunch then back to Bucklers Hard mid river pontoon options. Water taxi service & dingy. DIY bbq. The Portsmouth Shantymen - Shanties sing along.
Wed 12th June HW 14.36
All day Treasure Hunt - exploring Southampton Water. Viewing cruise liners ( if in port) , Eling Mill etc. Top of Southampton Water then upper reaches of R. Hamble ( Howard's Way country!)
Finally to Mercury Marina, R.Hamble - Waters Edge Bar supper option or eat on board.
Thurs. 13th June HW 15.12
To Gosport/Portsmouth explore old Portsmouth – supper on board or in town. This day is intended to be a ‘tourist or holiday’ day, taking in the sights of old Portsmouth. HMS Victory etc....
Fri 14th June HW 15.52 Return to Chichester Marina.
For those recovering Shrimpers onto trailers head directly to marina, Others
explore harbour before heading to Chichester Marina for final prize giving dinner at Chichester Y. C. in the evening.
Please note:- BOAT HOIST Crane/boat hoist does not operate at the weeeknd. All Shrimpers must be launched by Friday afternoon. Similarly all Shrimpers must be craned out Friday 14th. ,
