The SOA have become 'Bronze Sponsors' of ex Shrimper owner and SOA Associate Member Gus Davidson who is to sail his home built Roger Dongray designed boat 'Just Right' in the Transatlantic 'Jester Challenge' to raise funds for the McMillan Nurses.

Recent News:-

A pair of SOA Burgees ( in case one is ruined by gales) and a SOA tie were presented to Gus at the London Boat Show by Nat. Hon. Sec. Trevor Thomas.

Gus will fly the SOA burgee for the whole trip and wear the tie at the formal dinners both at Plymouth UK and Newport Rhode Island.

It was thought unlikely that Gus would need two ties!

Let us hope that they bring Gus some SOA good fortune.
